Council Chief Speaks at Civic Society AGM

The Corsham Civic Society will hold its AGM at the Corsham Town Hall on Friday evening, 15 May 2009.  Members and guests are invited.  They are asked to take their seats at 7 o’clock, in readiness for a prompt start at 7.15pm.  The AGM itself is expected to be over and done-with in half an hour

There will then be a short break before the Society moves matters on to the main event of the evening.  Dr Keith Robinson, Chief Executive of the new Wiltshire Council has been booked to deliver a talk which he has entitled “Wiltshire Council, Wiltshire Communities”.  His presentation is planned to start at 8 o’clock.

Peter Tapscott, publicity officer for the Society, says “For those who have seen Keith in action before, you will have some idea of what is in store.  For those who have not, be assured that we are in for an informative and lively session!”
